Florida Career Colleges mission is to successfully prepare our graduates for new career opportunities. Our objectives are to offer graduates viable career options by providing quality educational programs based on employer-driven requirements. FCC aims to create a positive learning environment that recognizes individuality and enables students to meet their unique educational goals.

Founded as Florida Programming and Educational Center, Inc., the College’s first classes began in September 1982 in Miami, Florida. In 1990, the School started using the name Florida Computer and Business School. Through the years, the school has grown and expanded with additional courses and programs to match student skills with the needs of the computer industry and business sectors.

In 1999, the School became a Microsoft IT Academy. The School opened its second campus in January 2000, in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The West Palm Beach Campus opened and started classes September 2002. The fifth campus in Lauderdale Lakes was opened in August 2005. In 2002, the College was awarded collegiate status by the Florida Commission for Independent Education. The Commission for Independent Education also approved the College’s curriculum for Allied Health Medical Programs.

In July 2006, the Clearwater and Brandon campus locations, formerly EduTech Centers, were acquired and renamed Florida Career College in February 2007.

We generate excitement and foster the desire to learn through diverse teaching and maintain a qualified, caring faculty and staff dedicated to the personal and professional development of each student. Students are prepared and encouraged to pursue life-long learning.

Florida Career College offers large, comfortable classrooms, computer labs with PC and Mac computers, Medical Labs, bookstore and a resource center. The resource center provides students and faculty with reference materials, including books, videos and periodicals to supplement textbooks and lectures. Also, each campus houses school offices for student services, financial services, and career center.
