The Akron Machining Institute believes good, skilled training, with an emphasis on attitude, attendance, and safety habits, is needed in order to provide a marketable entry-level employee. By training students, we hope to fill the numerous openings in the machining field due to retirement, expansion, and new businesses.
The programs at Akron Machining Institute are developed in direct response to the needs of the machine technology field and provide the basic skills and knowledge that employers feel are necessary for an entry-level employee.
